We have all thought about just up a leaving our job, life and travelling the world at one point or another in our life times. It would be freeing, fascinating and just plain fun! But…sadly most of us can’t do that. However, Rich East was able to just that, and he brought along his best feline friend (Willow) for the ride!
Rich and Willow have traveled across Australia for over two and half years together.
One day, Rich woke up and decided to quit is mundane job, sell all of his possessions and hit the open road!
Willow, as rescue cat, has traveled 50,000 kilometers across the country with Rich. The pair have a caravan in which they call ‘home’.
I think it’s safe to say that Willow is living her best life. And Rich isn’t doing to bad either!
The duo has reached South Australia and the cat has visited 6 states and 2 territories of Australia. They sailed the Great Barrier Reef and camped on mountains in Burketown, Queensland and the Northern Territory.
The cat does have a tracker and she is always collared. But Rich doesn’t really need to worry about Willow taking off. I think it’s safe to say she is quite happy where she is at!
