Dwayne Molock, a.k.a. Moshow started rapping at a young age and dropped his first mixtape at the age of 14. Not wanting to rap about “gangster stuff”, Moshow picked a subject that he knows best and loves the most – cats.
Growing up in the projects in Baltimore, Moshow was constantly surrounded by “gangster stuff”. Despite that, he was always listening to James Taylor and wanting to stay home to play Dragon Ball Z. Moshow said: “I was rapping gangster stuff and pretending a life that I didn’t really live. I just didn’t feel comfortable rapping about things I didn’t do” and thus his wacky cat raps were born.
