16. World’s Most Expensive LEGO brick – $14,450

LEGO is considered the world’s most favorite toy, so it’s not completely surprising that a solid 14-carat gold brick was made. It had the same dimensions as the standard brick, but it weighed 25.6 grams. Apparently back in the day, these gold bricks were given to employees that had worked for the Hohenwestedt LEGO factory in Germany for at least 25 years, as well as a couple of business partners between the years of 1979 to 1981. There weren’t too many in circulation either, so when this one was listed on Brick Envy, it fetched a price of $14,450.
