Even if you’re a cat lover, $24,000 for a cat does seem quite excessive, even if you have tons of money. This California Spangled Cat is incredibly beautiful, but unless you’re some sort of feline connoisseur, you can always get one that looks almost identical but doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. This particular cat was sold back in 1987, best known for his modeling work as the display cat on the 1986 Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. Hopefully this cat’s owner got a copy of that so that even when it goes to kitty heaven, he (or she!) can remember his lovely feline friend.
