26. World’s Most Expensive Silk Sari – over $100,000
If you’ve been up close and personal with a silk sari, you’ll notice just how beautiful it is. This one in particular was produced by Chennai Silks in India, featuring a variety of images from 11 different paintings by Raja Ravi Varma, a well-known Indian artist. It was explained as, “The silk sari is made up of navratna stones including diamonds, emeralds, rubies, yellow sapphires, sapphires, topaz, pearls, cat’s eye and coral. It also has embroidered metals such as gold, platinum and silver,” and was sold at a whopping $100,000.
