Although the alcohol inside the bottle is prized as well, it’s truly the bottle this time that’s worth a rather large price. This Platinum and White Gold Tequila bottle was designed by Fernando Altamirano and was sold by Tequila Ley .925. It was sold to a private collector from Mexico City back in July 2006, after paying a price of $225,000, containing 100% Blue Agave Tequila that was aged 6 years and worth $2,500 for the alcohol alone. It is still the most expensive bottle ever sold on the Guinness Book of World Records.
