Baseball fans from all over the world have been buying memorabilia for years, from baseball cards, to baseball jerseys to balls. But this particular one was used by none other than Mark McGwire when he ran his 70th and final home run with the St. Louis Cardinals, finishing an incredibly season in 1998. And when the ball was put up for auction in Guernsey’s in New York, Todd McFarlane picked it up for $3,054,000, making it the most expensive baseball in the history of the sport.
