Fingerprints are just one of the marvels of the human body that make each one of us unique. Although everyone’s fingerprints have similar characteristics such as loops, curves and swirls, they are different. But what do these loops, curves and swirls mean? Why do you have a swirl patterned fingerprint, yet I don’t?
Dermatoglyphics is the study of the scientific study of fingerprints, lines, mounts, and shapes of hands. Researches have been studying fingerprints for quite some time, trying to figure out a correlation between the shapes of fingerprints and a persons behavioral traits.
Here is what the studies have come up with so far. Which one are you?
If you have loop prints you are apt to be a fairly calm and balanced person; loops are also associated with sensitivity and high sociability while still allowing room for some due diligence.
Most loop people are easily predictable simply because of their openness, they tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves. They’re generally also picky, opting not to perform any tedious work if they can avoid it. If you’ve got loops on all of your fingers, you’re likely to have a more active imagination than the other types.
If you were born with curvy fingerprints you stand a higher chance of being energetic and confident with it. This confidence can sometimes lead to stubbornness, and any decision made is pretty much final in their minds.
Most people with curvy fingerprints will end up working in some sort of leadership position.
Folks with swirly prints are most often associated with natural talent and quick thinking. They are also know to be quite temperamental. While their quick and sharp mind would be a great addition to any leadership role, swirly people tend to be too unpredictable – not that they’d even want a position like that in the first place!
That unpredictability does give them a bit of an edge though, because once their mind is set on achieving something, they almost never fail!
