This is exactly why hot air balloons freak me out!
It was a perfect day for a hot air balloon ride, until something went wrong.
In the video below, you will see a hot air balloon operator in distress as his balloon begins falling from the sky and heading towards a utility pole. The incident took place in Michigan.
The basket of the hot air balloon hits the utility pole which causes the electrical transformer to blow up, setting fire to the balloon and basket.
Luckily for the operator, there was a lake nearby where he could set the fiery balloon down in.
Amazingly, the balloon operator was not injured and was able to walk away from the accident with only a few scratches.
