Three trillion. That’s the staggering number of trees on Earth, according to a new tally that astounds even the scientists who compiled it.
Three trillion is a big number, that is a three with 12 zeros following it, which is more than the number of stars in the Milky Way and roughly 16% of the United States current national debt.
This massive number equates to about 420 trees per person on the planet.
Russia takes home the ‘most trees in a country’ award with 642 billion.
