It’s called Big Major Cay, and it is a magical place where tourists and pigs play together on the sand and in the water.

The pigs that live on Big Major Cay are semi-feral. Big Major Cay is a tiny, uninhabited island made up of thick forest. About a dozen pigs live here, and there are many different stories as to how that happened to be.

Some say the pigs swam to the island after a shipwreck; others say sailors left them here, planning to come back and eat them.

Recently comedian Amy Schumer posted a photograph on Instagram that showed her and her buddies (including Jerry Seinfeld) hanging out with one of the pigs on the island.
