Following the Best Picture mixup that mistakenly awarded ‘La La Land’ Best Picture over ‘Moonlight,’ James recreates Emma Stone’s audition from La La Land set to lyrics recapping the Oscars.
Is there anything this guy can’t do? He can sing…he’s funny…he’s hosted the Grammy’s and clearly…he can act!
The statement below was made by the company (PricewaterhouseCoopers) who creates and hands out the winners envelopes to the presenters.
“The presenters had mistakenly been given the wrong category envelope and when discovered, was immediately corrected,” the statement continued. “We are currently investigating how this could have happened, and deeply regret that this occurred. We appreciate the grace with which the nominees, the academy, ABC and Jimmy Kimmel handled the situation,” a reference to the network and the host of the Oscars ceremony.
