Vibram, an Italian shoemaker known more so for its military footwear, has put a new spin on Furoshiki shoe ware.

Furoshiki’s are traditional Japanese wrapping cloths usually used for transporting goods and carrying things in decorative pieces of cloth.

The first concept of the Japanese-style shoe was created by designer Masaya Hashimoto, but it wasn’t without its flaws. That was until Vibram got a hold of the “wrapping sole” shoe and came up with a solution to the first ever wrap-around shoe with a sole.
