Her name is Duck and this little kitten only has two hind legs — but that doesn’t stop her from being awesome!
The Tabby kitten was brought to an animal clinic in Florida with two very badly mangled legs. Although her legs were damaged beyond repair, she had the will to live! It is thought that Duck was a stray and trying to stay warm in the engine of a car and was injured when the vehicle started.
After a successful surgery to remove both of ‘Duck’s’ front legs, she was rehabilitated and ready for a nice foster home.
Duck’s human wrote : “I took her in (as a foster) and she acclimated to her new life quickly,” Duck’s human wrote. “It didn’t take her long at all to adapt and start walking all around the house on her own.”
Before they knew it, the kitten had hopped her way into their hearts and made herself a permanent part of the family. She continued to make strides and exude happiness to everyone around her.
Once Duck learned how to use her hind legs and became stable on them…she was off!
At six months old, Duck is the fastest 2-legged kitten there is.
She has three canine siblings, a feline sister and six hens that she hangs out with in the yard when she goes sun-bathing.
She definitely never ceases to amaze people with her will powers!
