Who doesn’t want one of a kind sneaks? Everyone likes to stand out, be a little different and this simple fashion hack will let you do just that! This is a wonderful and fun project to do with the kids to! They will love showing off the shoes they made themselves!
Supplies :
- One Pair Canvas-Sneakers (new or used)
- Left over material, lace gives a particularly cool effect
- Material glue (this one is perfect)
- Scissors
- Razor blade
- Paintbrush
What to do:
First cut out a piece of material to cover the front part of the shoe, preferably a bit larger as this will make it easier later on.
Use a paintbrush to spread glue generously around the area you want to add some extra life to.
One the glue is on, firmly press the material onto the shoe. Make sure all wrinkles are out of the material.
Now complete the same steps as above on the backside of the shoe!
While the first shoe is drying, start on the second shoe!
Now take a small razor and carefully cut the excess material off around the defined edges of the shoe.
Be careful not to cut through the shoe!
The finish product is super cool, unique and quite fashionable! You can use any material you choose!
The ideas are endless!
