In the era of social distancing, people are trying to figure out how to maintain relationships and even start new ones!

One Brooklyn, New York resident found a rather genius way to meet someone new during the quarantine.

Photographer Jeremy Cohen’s story began on Instagram and of course continued on his TikTok. His smooth ways have definitely gained him quite the following. He tells the story of how he saw a woman dancing on her roof and after waving hello, decided to send her his number via a drone.

Cohen explains how he was nervous to send over a drone, but he was craving social interaction quite badly, so he took a chance. “I can’t believe this actually worked and yes this is a real story,” he wrote in the video caption.

The smooth move worked and he received a text back from the roof top dancer!

The pair of New Yorkers then had a first date complete with tiny tables and tablecloths—and wine, of course. They FaceTimed from their own buildings while Cohen documented it all. The photographer claims he had his date’s roommate to help set it up.

Next, he Cohen decided to up his game and roll on over to her place, encapsulated in a large plastic ball — so they two could go for a walk together.
