Michael Ketterer, a pediatric mental health nurse from East Tennessee who currently resides in Orange County, CA with his wife and six kids, took to the America’s Got Talent Stage and earned himself a Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell.
Michael walked on stage and began to explain a bit about himself and almost immediately, the world new he was special!
Michael explained that he nearly lost his wife and daughter due to complications at his daughter’s birth. Michael’s wife and daughter pulled through, but doctor’s informed them that if they were to have more children, they could risk going through the same ordeal again.
After seven years, Michael and his wife decided to adopt three boys and then another and then another. One of the boys has Cerebral Palsy and is confined to a wheel chair.
After moving the audience and judges with his incredible story and heart of gold, he sang.
Michael’s vocal talent blew the judges minds and the audience was on their feet hanging on every note he sang.
