How Crispin Glover Almost Kicked David Letterman In the Head On His Own Show

Once famous for his role as George McFly in the cult classic film series Back to the Future, Crispin Glover was one of those actors whose faces you just recognized. But when it came to his other films, Glover wasn’t quite as popular as he was as McFly. Letterman invited him on the show to promote one of his new movies, River’s Edge, but Crispin came wearing a wig, glasses and platform shoes, and moreover, refused to even answer Letterman’s questions in a straightforward manner. As time went on, Letterman got increasingly annoyed, but it was when Glover almost kicked Letterman in the head while attempting to do some stunt. Letterman had finally had enough and Glover was asked to leave the show. Suffice to say he was probably never invited on the show again.
