Born in San Francisco, Evelyn Taft is the only child of her Russian-American parents and was well traveled growing up. As such, she is fluent in several languages including Russian, French, and Hebrew. She holds a degree in journalism from the Annenberg School of Journalism at USC as well as a meteorology certificate from Mississippi State University. The NWA certified meteorologist started her career with KCOY-TV and KRON 4 before moving on to Los Angeles and joining CBS-affiliate KCAL. The beautiful host and reporter, who has two kids with husband Ross Resnick, founder of the Roaming Hunger Organization, has a passion for traveling and sailing, and also has an interest in interior design. She has also been awarded the National Army Guild Award for the documentary, Military Minute.
