This South-Eastern Massachusetts beauty definitely knows her path. Having studied at the University of Miami where she holds a degree in Marine and Atmospheric Science, Bri Winkler served as a meteorologist and reporter for ABC7’s Eyewitness News after starting off her career in Today in Amarillo for KAMR-TV. After recovering from a stroke in 2012, she became a yoga enthusiast and advocate for the American Heart/Stroke Association. Bri left Eyewitness News in 2017 and pursued her Master’s in Environmental Science and Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she is now a Research Assistant for Scoping Ocean Plastics, while also serving as an Energy and Climate Specialist for the City of Santa Barbara. So, while she has left the cameras, she has continued to pursue her passion.
