A mother of a teenage daughter who committed suicide recently shared an emotional video, expressing the pain in which a parent feels after their child is gone.

The video was created by Danielle Hunt in an effort to help just one person who is contemplating ending their life.

Hunt’s daughter, 15-year-old Jo’Vianni Smith was a talented softball player who one day wanted to attend UCLA. But on April 2, a day her mother will never forget, Smith took her own life.

In the video, Hunt is visiting her teenage daughter’s grave on Mother’s Day, sitting in her teenage daughter’s car – she breaks down and decides to film her breakdown. Pleading to those to are thinking about ending their life, to ‘just stay’.

The video highlights the aftermath of the gut wrenching, painful and emotional journey a parent or loved one goes through after someone close to them commits suicide. The video is real, raw, yet simplistic and to the point.

The video is broken down into 4-parts.
