Pretty people taking pretty mugshots isn’t very farfetched, but when your mugshot is so well-styled that people would rather swipe right than lock you up, you know you’re going to go viral. Sarah Seawright from Little Rock, Arkansas was charged with a variety of crimes: in 2012, she was arrested on charges of aggravated robbery, kidnapping, first degree battery, hindering prosecution, and tampering with physical evidence. She had offered a ride to a man she knew, who was then robbed at gunpoint by another man already in her car. In 2016, she was arrested for failure to appear in court for a 2014 arrest for careless driving, and driving without insurance.
She was then taken to the Pulaski County Jail and was processed by the police there; it is there that the viral mugshot was taken. She has since posted her bond, but that mugshot made the rounds on the internet and caught the attention of a lot of people on social media, turning #prisonbae and #jailhousebae into trending terms on Twitter. At one point, she even posted her email on her Instagram profile for people to get in touch with her for media guestings and interviews. Perhaps when she felt her notoriety had died down a bit, she removed the email address — but if her previous booking history is to be believed, this might not be the last time Prison Bae gets a mugshot.
