After she was diagnosed with coronavirus, a New Jersey nurse documented the stages of her health deterioration before her untimely death.

Back in March, Pamela Orlando contracted the coronavirus from her long shifts in the emergency room.

After being diagnosed with the deadly virus, the fifty-six-year-old mom, who worked at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey, decided to document her journey to recovery.

At the beginning, Pamela seemed to be in good spirits.

She remained positive and believed that she would fully recover from the virus.

Sadly, things began progressing in a negative manner and her health began to deteriorate.

By “day two,” Pamela’s face appeared grey and her demeanor was notably different as she said into the camera, “Boy do I feel like crap.”

“Back pain. Fever that won’t break and then when it does break, it’s just a very uncomfortable feeling.”

The following day, Pamela gave yet another update. This time, she was lying in a hospital bed, her breathing was shallower, but she still remained hopeful.

“Day three of this wonderful virus, I hear day nine is worse, I’m just happy to be okay for now,” Pamela said, evidently hopeful that her condition would improve.

The next clip showed her horrendous desperation as she struggled to get the attention of a doctor or nurse.

Wearing an oxygen mask, Pamela said, while visibly struggling for breath:

“It’s 9:20 and I still have not seen a nurse or a nurse practitioner, I called them for pain meds and I called to speak to my nurse practitioner and I still have not seen or heard from anyone except the tech.”

On April 16th, nearly a month after her diagnosis, Pamela Orlanda tragically succumbed to the virus, according to CBS.

Social media page, It’s Gone Viral, released Pamela’s video where it has since been viewed tens of thousands of times. You can watch it for yourself above.
