AWESOME

Kevin Swan was diagnosed with ALS in February of 2012. Within a couple of months of diagnosis, he had left his job as Director of Communications for SingleHop, a rapidly growing Infrastructure Service Provider, and founded A Life Story Foundation.

ALSF’s mission is to tell the stories of PALS (People with ALS) in order to raise awareness, funds, and create action to help eradicate the disease.

ALS – Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease and Charcot disease, is a specific disorder that involves the death of neurons. The disease causes the immobility of muscle function throughout your body and can make even the simplest everyday tasks a challenge.

Kevin’s video is an eye opener to what individuals with ALS face for challenges on a daily basis. The fight for a cure is non-stop and Kevin is on a mission to rewrite the ending of this horrific disease.
