For centuries people have enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles. They are a relaxing way to pass the time, especially while stuck inside during this ‘stay-at-home’ period in our lives. But getting new puzzles can be a challenge right now. Stores are closed, online shipping entities such as Amazon have slowed shipping on all non-essential products. And with social distancing, you can’t even make a puzzle with a friend right now! Or can you?
There are a few websites out there that make it possible for you to connect with friends and make a puzzle together!

Ravensburger’s Puzzle World
Ravensburger has been manufacturing board games and puzzles since the 1880s. Now, they’re sharing some of their most popular jigsaw puzzles online. To play with others, enter a login name and choose Create a Game. Your friends can find the puzzle with your name and join you there. Alternatively, you can join another puzzle in progress and maybe make some new friends!

There are a handful of puzzles in all sorts of different degrees of difficulty on this site. To complete a puzzle virtually with someone, choose any picture and set up a table of your own. Enter a nickname your friends will easily recognize and get going. You can also opt to create a custom puzzle by selecting Your Own Jigsaw and uploading a picture. You’ll receive a custom URL you can share with anyone.

Sign in to this puzzle platform with Facebook, Google or Twitter, select New Puzzle and pick the puzzle you want to complete. There are dozens of options here. Choose Private to be able to invite friends or Public if you want to allow anyone to play along. You can even select the number of pieces you want. Choose the Invite button at the top of the board to send an invitation to friends.
