Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder stopped mid-song during Monday night’s Wrigley Field concert to teach an apparently unruly fan a lesson in minding his manners.

“Hey, hey, mister!” Vedder shouted into the audience, in a moment captured on video and uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday. “Hey, get your finger out of that woman’s face!”

The crowd reacted with sporadic applause, cheers and chatter as Vedder, an Evanston, Illinois, native, let the unidentified audience member know “all the fingers are pointing at you.”

“Come on, clear out, mister,” Vedder chided to growing applause.

He then appeared to address the woman who allegedly had the finger stuck in her face, asking if she was okay to claps and whistles from fans. He admired how she handled herself then launched back into the interrupted tune “Lukin,” and then into “Mind Your Manners.”

Here it is from another angle.
