Adoption is supposed to be a happy event. It usually means that a child that has no parents, and wishful individuals that want to be parents, can become family. At least for one hopeful couple, Tim and Julie Thomas, this was their dream. They decided to adopt two young children that had sadly lost their mother, while also having a father that couldn’t care for them. But after happily accepting their role as new parents, they were going to find out quite quickly that their dreams wouldn’t be as sweet as they first hoped.
