What happens when a man who performs sketch comedy for a living gets married? Well, his wedding party is filled with funny people of course, and that leads to hilarious speeches!
That was the case at a recent wedding where one groomsman named Adam, took the microphone and read a personal passage of love and hope as his friend John and his soon to be wife stood at the alter.
Adam began reading, with a Ron Swanson and Zach Galifianakis vibe and almost immediately, everyone knew that they were going to hear some funny talk!
As the reading went on it became apparent that Adam was reading lyrics from the popular song “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley. That song and music video became a major sensation in 2008 after people began using memes to ‘Rick Roll’ their friends on social media. Basically, people would post share an interesting story or video with a friend and when it was opened, it would link to the music video of ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’.
