On a road in the Far East of Russia, a driver is reported to have spotted one of the world’s most endangered big cats, an Amur tiger, and captured this amazing video.
And just to put it out there…I would have probably freaked out!
A little info the Amur Tiger:
- One of the largest cats in the world.
- Fewer than 500 can be found in the wild.
- Found in Far East Russia mainly, while some do cross into China and possibly North Korea.
- In the 1940s, it was on the brink of extinction with fewer than 50 individuals remaining in the wild.
- They can weigh well over 200 pounds.
