Susan Dey was one of the most sought-out actresses of her time. She first gained fame when she starred as the eldest daughter, Laurie in the hilarious 70’s sitcom, The Patridge Family. After four seasons of playing Laurie Patridge, acting roles were coming in left and right but she realized that her popularity was too much for her to handle at such a young age. At one point in her career, she weighed as little as 92 pounds. She began to adopt a healthier lifestyle and turner her life around. Today, Susan Dey is now in retirement and away from the limelight in New York City.
