There are studies that show that those who are not that into the social life may be more intelligent. So, if you prefer to be alone or enjoy more without people around you, don’t worry as this may just be a sign that you are smarted than you think. As smarter people tend to be independent or nonconformist, they may get constricted by the social norm which at a certain level expects them to think or act in the same way. This will only hamper their thinking, and eventually lead to them not enjoying company as much. There have been studies that looked into the correlation between happiness and intelligence, friendship, and population, and those that found spending time alone more enjoyable than socializing tend to be the smarter ones as they have more time to focus.
