10. Get Enough Rest

Getting enough rest is good for everybody, regardless of whether you are sick or not. But when you have a sore throat, or any kind of sickness for that matter, the body truly needs it’s time to rest and recuperate. Getting enough rest doesn’t just mean sleeping, but it’s being able to avoid outside stressors and issues that can make your symptoms worse. Take some time off of work or whatever you might be busy with in order to allow your body and immune system to mend and recover completely.
