What was initially bought for US$1400 turned a huge profit two months later when it was sold at 3.3 million US dollars. This series by Hobbs is Art Blocks that show a pattern of colorful boxes and rectangles. What is amazing about this particular series is that neither the artist nor the buyer knows the outcome of the design until it is bought. This is because users by random “seeds” which determines the design, color and background of the artwork and since the seeds are generated randomly, then both artist and buyer are unable to predict what design will come out.
