The Rock Boys Saves Brother Drowning

Jacob O’Connor says he found his younger brother face down in a pool. But, it was a movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson that O’Connor says helped him save his brothers life. San Andreas stars Johnson as a rescue chopper pilot based in California. In the movie he’s responsible for saving lives after a massive earthquake – including the life of his on screen daughter.

Jacob and his younger brother were at their grandmother’s home as their mother was at work. While Jacob was getting ready to watch some TV, he noticed that the back screen door was open and that his little brother was gone. Moments later, Jacob found his 2-year brother lying face down in the family pool.

Jacob grabbed his brother out of the water and became mimicking compression’s (CPR) that he remembered seeing ‘The Rock’ do in his favorite movie. Those compression’s saved the boys life.

The little boy was rushed to the hospital where he made a full recovery after being face down in the water for over a minute.

The Rock saw the story and responded via social media. He will flying out the boy and his family to Vancouver to meet him in person and shake his hand.
