The year was 2014 and Toronto was predicted to have a huge rise in the housing market. Realtors and sisters, Gladys and Carla Spizzirri, were looking forward to a great fiscal year for their lucrative business. So when they received a phone call from a 96-year old woman on Jane Street in the Old Mill area who wanted to sell her house, they were a bit apprehensive to know what state her home was in considering she was living all alone.
But when they finally paid her a visit, there was no way that they could have prepared themselves for what they were going to see.
