JoeySalads recently uploaded a #video to his Youtube channel of a social experiment he recently performed. The social experiment was titled “Child Abduction” and the results were shocking.
As a parent myself, I couldn’t help but wonder what my children would do if put in the same situation that Joey presented to the #kids in the video.
Joey asked each parent for permission prior to approaching their kids on the playground. Armed with a puppy, Joey asked each parent what they thought their children would do if approached by a stranger with a puppy. Naturally each parent stated that their child would not talk to a stranger, none the less go with one. Again, the result were shocking and very, very scary.
Talk to your children about strangers, safety and what to do if put in a situation like the one shown in the video. Show your kids this video and make them aware. As Joey states at the end of the video, 700 children are abducted each and every day. That number is astonishing and ridiculous. Opening your children’s eyes to the dangers of the world, just a little, can do so much and save them from being taken.
