It rained on your wedding day? Big deal.

On August 11, 2018, Filipino couple Jefferson and Jobel Delos Angeles braved the monsoon rains and got married in a beautiful, but very wet, church ceremony in the province of Bulacan, Luzon Island, Philippines.

In a viral Fecebook video posted by their aunt, Ter BaƱares Bautista, you can see the beautiful 24 year-old bride, in her flowing white gown, wading with her parents through calf-deep waters inside the Santo Rosario Church, as barefooted guests and members of the entourage watched.

Over the weekend, monsoon rains enhanced by Tropical Storm Yagi, dumped over half of the average August rainfall on the Philippine capital of Manila and its neighboring provinces, causing massive flash floods and the overflowing of the Marikina River.

The newly-weds werenā€™t only celebrating their wedding on that fateful day. Their youngest daughter was also being baptized in the very same church where they were tying the knot in.Ā Photos and a video posted by their aunt, showed their families and friends sharing the joy of Saturday’s one-of-a-kind experience.

I guess a honeymoon in Venice will be out of the question for now.
