If you are tired of paying for subscription based streaming services like Netflix or Hulu, there is a free alternative that is worth checking out!

Tubi is a totally free, ad-supported streaming video service that offers a wide range of TV shows and movies! And surprisingly, they have some pretty awesome content! The best part though, is the fact you will never have to pay for it!

They offer classic TV shows like the original ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ (12 full seasons) and ‘ALF’. Their selection of horror movies is quite decent as well.

The only downside to the service is that they don’t offer original content and there isn’t much in regards to new releases.

The service costs nothing and as stated, is ad supported. So you will have a few ad breaks during viewing. However, the ads are typically very short. We watched an hour long episode of Unsolved Mysteries and there was a total of 2 ads. One ad was for 15-seconds and the second was for 30-seconds. So not bad at all!

You’ll find iOS and Android apps, for example, as well as apps for Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV boxes. The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 have native Tubi apps, too, and they’re all pretty easy to use and navigate through.

Tubi doesn’t require a login to watch some videos on the service, but anything that’s rated R or otherwise has a Mature designation will require a free account. There’s other value to using an account, however, such as queuing up interesting movies and shows, getting smart recommendations based on your viewing habits, and resuming something you started on any device.

According to the company, Tubi has more than 50,000 titles in its library, with key partnerships with Lionsgate, Paramount, MGM, and Starz helping to keep its content vault full!
