Just like using the proper type of underwear when you work out, another underwear mistake that you might be making is to not change your panties afterwards, or any of your clothes at all. First of all, sitting around in dirty gym clothes is quite unsanitary, but it can also give you a bit more than just a sweaty smell after a hard gym session. According to Dr. Jen Gunter, she told Glamour magazine that many times people will get intertrigo. This is a type of rash that occurs in between the folds of the skin, including the groin. If you don’t want to end up with an incredibly annoying itch, be sure not to hang out in your used gym clothes for too long after but rather, take a shower and change. Your vagina will thank you later.
