Live Leak user Nikolaos Kepesidis uploaded this footage of the “Alien Face Hugging Octopus” recently and it certainly shows that when humans enter marine life territory, they are fair game.
For those of you thinking, “It’s an octopus! It doesn’t know what it’s doing,” Scientific American says, “Scientists have found that octopuses can navigate their way through mazes, solve problems quickly and remember those solutions, at least for the short term.”
So with that little tidbit of knowledge, we can assume that this octopus knew exactly what it was doing. I’m sure Nikolaos will think twice the next time he wants to get super close to an octopus!
