Mexico’s Popocatepetl volcano erupted with force, power and beauty. The eruption ejected incandescent fragments up to 1,968 feet from the crater and generated a column of ash that reached a height of about 6,500 feet. Mother Nature’s power at its finest.

A webcam was set up to capture the natural event and boy did it!

As the eruption begins a massive ball of lava is seen shooting skyward, followed by raining and flowing lava over the mountain side. A massive plume of smoke and ash follows, while lava slowly makes its way out of the volcano and downhill.
