A Washington woman who met a man through a Craigslist ad announced that she was a serial killer and began stabbing him in a Lynnwood motel, court documents say.

The man did escape after a brief struggle and the police were able to arrest a 24-year-old woman. The woman, who was jailed, told police that she wanted to be a serial killer. The woman even had a note prepared to leave on the body that said she planned to kill again. 

The 29-year-old man is being treated with non-life threatening injuries. 

The victim told police that he met the woman through a Craigslist ad, and the two went to a room in the Rodeo Inn in Lynnwood, Washington on Saturday night. While at the hotel, the woman asked the man several times if HE was a serial killer, where he replied ‘no’ he wasn’t. 

The woman then climbed on top of him and said, “Well, I’m a serial killer.” She grabbed a pocket knife and stabbed him.

Police asked the woman why she committed the crime and her response was simple. ‘I’m a loon’. She has not been charged yet, but is being held on $1 million bail. 

The moral of the story…be careful who you meet online. Always have a plan of escape if entering close quarters with a stranger and be alert at all times.
