Frenchman Yves Rossy and his protégé Vince Reffet use state of the art jetpacks to fly alongside a massive A380! Taking the jump from 5,500 feet out of a helicopter, these two put a whole new meaning on reaching for the sky.
In collaboration with XDubai and Emirates Airlines, they managed to capture this incredible footage, but I would like to point out that this was done with extensive research and planning with safety as the top priority. That being said, the jetpacks on the men’s backs weigh 88lbs by themselves (40 kilograms) and can travel upwards of 195mph (314kph), so keeping safety in mind meant meticulous dedication to the event.
