Innovative French photographer Xavier Hubert Brierre travelled to Gabon with his wife and set up a mirror in several locations in order to capture animals walking by.

All of the #animals found the mirror to be quite confusing, but most just examined the mirror and tried to figure out what exactly it was. A few animals saw the mirror as a threat, while a group of monkeys seemed to have figured out that they were in fact seeing their own reflection and had a little fun with the idea.
