TikTok user @professionalgoddess recently created and shared a video showing her chewing food and spitting it out into a baggy. She then goes on to say how she sold that chewed food for $175. Her video has over 3.3 million views and of course, a ton of wild comments.
Some comments expressed how disgusting that was, while others were curious what platform she uses to sell the chewed food and how they can do it.
According to her bio, the woman specializes in selling unusual items online, with chewed food being just one of them. In another video, she said that she had the idea to sell her cracked phone screen after realizing that, through her prolonged use and leaving her DNA on it, someone might be interested in owning it.
She also sold a used tissue for $70 and even her IUD for a four-figure sum.
This reminds me of the old eBay days where people would sell dirty, used socks and such for big bucks! While this still happens, it used to be quite popular back in the day, prior to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and such.
If there is one thing I have learned while on this earth…there is always a buyer for something — no matter how gross or odd.
