Woman Takes Disturbing Photos For A Year To Show The Effects To Abuse And Violence

Domestic violence is an issue experienced worldwide. The Croatian government was very much aware of this sad and stark reality that plagues every nation. Hence, they decided to share photos of one woman’s face over the course of a year to show readers what happens to the victims. While makeup was used to express reality, it made people aware of just how much more grim reality is. The pictures convey a powerful message: One photo a day in the worst year of my life. This was made in response to a danger that many women live with every single day of their lives, which is domestic violence.
The pictures are sad and graphic, and not for the faint of heart.
