The violence in the country is primarily brought about by terrorism. Terrorist groups attack without warning and concentrate on public places such as markets or shopping malls, hospitals, schools, airports, government facilities, and places of worship which has led to hundreds of casualties. The unstable and dangerous region of Balochistan is also notorious for kidnappings aside from terror attacks as the Taliban are able to cross this area.
