Yemen remains a very unstable and dangerous country with the violence incurred by the civil war and terrorist attacks. Air strikes and ground fighting has continued to persist between the Hadi-led and Saudi Arabia-backed Yemeni government and the Houthi armed movement, while Al Qaeda carries out terror attacks and kidnappings, regardless of time and location. Not to mention violence stemming from armed tribal groups seeking autonomy from the warring factions. This has left the extremely poor nation with tens of thousands dead and millions on starvation, as relief efforts are considered terrorist targets.
