Bacon Wrapped Pineapple Mozzarella Rings are over the top, glazed and filled with a crazy flavor combination that will have your guests saying “Wow!”<\/p>\n
You’ve gotta try these out for an onion ring you’ve never even thought of before! This mega ring is onion stuffed with mozzarella and a pineapple ring, all wrapped in bacon, and don’t forget to glaze these with yummy BBQ sauce for caramelization you’ve never had before. These can be made on the grill or in the oven so you can make up a batch all year round!<\/p>\n

Peel and cut the large onion into \u2153 inch slices.<\/strong><\/p>\n Open the can of pineapple slices, drain the juice and set aside 8 slices.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Match the onion rings to the size of the pineapple slices\u2014choose rings that have more of a bowl shape to help hold the string cheese in place.<\/strong><\/p>\n Cut the mozzarella string cheese in half.<\/strong><\/p>\n Place one half of the mozzarella in the onion ring and cut the other half to fill in the remaining gap. Place the cut piece filling in the gap.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Stack the mozzarella lined onion ring on the pineapple and start wrapping with bacon slices. Use two to three slices of bacon per ring. Just take it slow and keep it all in place and it will eventually wrap \u2014 sometimes it takes some re-positioning or re-stuffing of string cheese into ring.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Start up your grill and cook on medium 30 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked. Glaze rings throughout cooking.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Let cool down for a few minutes before serving. Serve as is or with a dipping sauce if desired.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\nEnjoy!<\/h1>\n
