A group of engineers/designers from San Francisco tied a GoPro camera to a balloon and launched it upwards.

Launched from the California coast near Davenport, the GoPro landed in Crows Landing 70 miles away, 2 hours and 35 minutes after launch.

The balloon reached a peak altitude 80,000 feet before it blew apart, sending the GoPro falling back to earth.
